A statement that started as a joke made me think seriously: in an age of separation, loneliness, and social media bubbles, my ability to bring people together in meaningful ways might not be a trivial skill.
So, I embarked on extensive research to figure out what's missing from our lives due to the culture we live in — and how to reintroduce a sense of community into our daily lives.
Dozens of books and hundreds of conversations inspired the idea behind House of Belonging: what we actually need is each other.
I believe we are co-creating something truly unique together — a social network that's always there to make you feel like you are not alone.
I'm Kata, the founder of House of Belonging.
"What's something that has always come naturally to you?" someone asked me while I was searching for a new meaningful mission to commit to. I realized, "I've always been really good at bringing together groups of friends."
In recent years, I've created and recreated my community many times because I've always felt the need for something more than just friendships.

House of Belonging is a curated private community. We are inclusively exclusive: there is an application process to ensure that people come together around similar intentions, values, and commitments.
We operate the community on a monthly membership fee basis. The membership gives you access to the people and events exclusive to House of Belonging.
You will be added to our community platforms and our local community calendar.

We have a shared calendar that offers plenty of options, whether you want to plan ahead or just join a laid-back dinner after work spontaneously. There’s no need to worry about organizing or lengthy group chats—just show up and enjoy hanging out with people
Our events are members-only, allowing you to connect and build relationships from one event to the next. First, you go to brunch, then to the theatre, then on a hike—and soon you'll be surprised at how quickly you can make friends, even as an adult. As a member, you have the opportunity to host your own events as well.
